WSU’s School of Social Work offers undergraduate, masters, doctoral, graduate certificate, and continuing education programs in social work that prepare students for professional practice. In its 81st year, the school continues to advance social welfare policy and practice by providing communities with educated and skilled social work professionals.

To educate prospective students on the social work profession, the Wayne State University School of Social Work conducts B.S.W. (Bachelor of Social Work) Welcome Days. This event covers in detail all aspects of the B.S.W. program, including the application process and curriculum. Career opportunities in social work are also discussed.
